This is the first real band of which I was
a member. Left to right, that would be me on the bass, then Royce Morgan on guitar. Standing,Art Shanks on the fiddle. The
steel guitar player is Clarence Hanks. The Big boss man Dave Rich in the cowboy suit.
We played dances, we did
shows, we did radio programs. All us were singers. We did solos, duets and Trios. We did country, some rock and roll,
R&B and some gospel. We were quite popular around Muhlenberg County. Those were the days my Friend. We have some great
memories.
